Management Team

Our management team consists of four seasoned veterans who believe that good old-fashioned service and pride of workmanship are the keys to success in any business and that customer referrals are the best sales tool available.
Ashley Trapman
Founder & President 		Ashley Trapman who holds an Economics degree from Lakehead University, founded Masterhandyman.ca in August 2008. He founded it on the constant prompting of his clients from more than 20 years in the renovation industry; through his company of TheBasementSpace.com and 800+ completed basement projects to his credit; that somebody please start a small job service-oriented business that would satisfy the vastly under-serviced "odd jobs" sector.

Ashley spearheads the day-to-day operations of MasterHandyman.ca adding his expertise of years of running multiple basement renovation projects with each of their own unique set of budgets, design challenges, timelines and client personalities and requirements to great success in the GTA.
Steve Vickery
Founder and Senior Vice President of Sales		 Steve Vickery has over 22 years of superior customer service experience, and has acquired invaluable corporate experience in the position of national Coordinator of Incentives and Promotions for the Internal customer for Air Canada. In the past, Steve has owned and managed several food and beverage operations, bringing with him over 22 years of sales and customer service to the renovation industry. With over 90% referral success rate in his current business of FinishedBasements.to, he understands the necessity for quality services and committed employees. As the Senior Vice President of Sales, Steve will head up the customer service division of masterhandyman.ca., and will work to ensure his committed and continued customer service excellence as masterhandyman.ca grows to new levels.
Jim Donovan
Marketing Manager		 Jim has over 20 years experience as a business owner, originally with Helpstar.com and currently with WeThinkSolutions.com. Jim has managed numerous marketing campaigns for both his own and his clients' businesses and spearheads the marketing activities at Master Handyman with the goal of making Master Handyman a household name across North America.

Jim holds a mathematics degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo.
Scott Sinclair
Technology Manager		 Scott holds a mathematics degree from the prestigious University of Waterloo Computer Science program and is responsible for ensuring that Master Handyman takes full advantage of technology to deliver the highest quality of customer service possible.

Scott has over 25 years experience in the Information Technology field, much of it spent at Software AG where he was the Manager of Product Development and the architect for the Natural Construct language. Since 1999, Scott has been providing high quality technology solutions first as owner of Natura Solutions and most recently as VP Technology of WeThinkSolutions.com.
